The hands-off presentation Amazon invited us to prior to its reveal at The Game Awards insisted that a Blue Protocol beta would launch in the first half of 2023, but no specific month or date was given. Right now, we don't have any specific dates as to when the Blue Protocol beta test will start. We'll have words on the Blue Protocol classes and whether or not Blue Protocol is free to play or pay to win real soon. There are going to be at least four classes from what we saw in the trailers, and mounts are a distinct possibility – we saw the characters riding giant fox-like creatures in the videos.While you're here, if you're looking for more Blue Protocol content, be sure to check out our other guides. Obviously, this means that any western release won’t happen before 2022, at least. Keep that in mind in case there’s more of them in the future – and there probably will be. They were all in Japanese, of course, but the betas weren’t region locked, meaning anyone who knows the language could have taken part.
It’s supposed to be released in late 2021, and there have been several bouts of closed beta testing already. Blue Protocol’s launch date hasn’t been set in stone yet – not even the Japanese version.
